Your site needs to have a professional look and feel to it. Surveys show that almost 50% of surfers say that the appearance of a given site is the single most significant factor determining their decision to make a purchase.
You need to have powerful headlines. Be imaginative. Be bold, but not offensive. Go for politically correct shock value.
You need copy that clearly explains the benefits of your product and/or service. Tell your potential customers what you or your product can do for them. Try to see things from their viewpoint.
You need to build your credibility. The best method here is to include testimonials from well-satisfied customers. It is simply more effective to have others brag about you than to brag about yourself.
You must include a “Call to Action”. This can be a variety of things including but not limited to: buy you product, sign up for your service, opt-in to your newsletter, sign a guestbook or anything else that you desire. You need a prompt for action.
Employ these elements in your marketing and your sales will increase.
