Besides creating a big boost in traffic and conversion rates, one of the best things about running a blog is that you have a lot of room to work in. It’s not a stiff and formal forum. It’s a place where you can loosen your tie, share your insights, connect to readers and all the while bring in new clients.
Of course it isn’t all chit-chat and shmoozing, especially at launch.
You’ll need to put your thoughts together and write a few well thought-out, relevant, keyword rich articles to get things rolling.
Once the ball is moving, however, it gets easier. You’ll start building a community of readers and relationships with other, similar blogs and websites, sharing traffic, advice, and best of all, customer leads.
Your main role is to be yourself. The blog is an extension of your personality and profession, where you use your own character and intelligence to bring in traffic and convert them to potential leads. Keep your writing on topic, focused on the issues your potential clients need solved, and you’re on your way to success. Remember to always interact with your visitors comments, leaving your own and giving them direct access to your person.
If you follow all of these points and write regularly, your blog could become your number one source of new leads.
