Dental eMarketing: Answer Questions

A great way to increase your dental practice’s exposure and prestige online is by answering people’s questions.

When we want to know something, we go to Google or other search engines and look for the answer. When you write good, keyword rich content that answers specific questions, people find your website, increasing your potential to capture leads and build your reputation.

Start out with a few articles. Take the common questions you receive from your patients, perhaps about how to prevent gingivitis, or anything else you find yourself explaining over and over again throughout your career.

Write a short article of 300-500 words, making sure to include the phrasing of the question in the title and content, as well as other related words that you would imagine people might type into a search engine. For gingivitis, we might think about “What is gingivitis” or “how to prevent gingivitis” or “gingivits treament in (your hometown)”.

Post them on to your website, make sure they’re found by search engines by including them in your sitemap, and watch the traffic that comes in. Add new ones or tweak existing articles to better match keywords to improve your bounce rates and lead conversion.

It’s a relatively easy and quick way to help bump your traffic and exposure online.
