Dental Marketing: Success In Steps

A successful internet marketing campaign involves more than a website design. The best way to plan your strategy is to think of your website and marketing as a series of steps.

STEP ONE: Get the user to the site

Either by writing optimized articles, using Pay-per-Click advertising or a combination of the two and other strategies, you need a campaign that drives traffic and potential customers to your website.

STEP TWO: Get the user to do something

Now that they are onboard, is your website designed in a way to encourage them to stay and take an action? Whether that be clicking back to the homepage after reading an article or sign up for the newsletter, we need to define an action we want to be taken. We’ve talked about mailing lists and RSS feeds on this blog before, but whatever it is you want them to do, make sure your site is encouraging them to take action.

STEP THREE: Seal the deal

Now that our well designed website, which has a purpose beyond telling about the business, has motivated the visitor to action and sign up for a newsletter of write an email in query, it’s time to seal the deal. Make sure to follow up questions and send out regular newsletters or updates to those customers we worked so hard to get onboard.

STEP FOUR: Do it over again, but better

Marketing never ends. Always think of new content, new tools, new programs and actions that your users can take. Keep offering the goods and the number of visitors will grow, and so will the number of customers in your practice.
