eMarketing for Lawyers: What Jurors Think

Bob Weiss wrote an interesting article here that discusses the impact your website has on sitting jurors.

Interviews with jurors reveal that they look at your firm’s website, read about its past and its people while sitting for trial.

Weiss notes that “defense counsel may want to soften their image of being Goliath’s hired guns via the Web (and) Plaintiff’s counsel may want to position themselves as champions of the Davids of the world.”

Its important to remember that other people will see your site beyond what you’re marketing target is, and that how your sites copy reads and promotes your firm will be interpreted under many different circumstances.

Take a look at your site and determine whether you need to rewrite or reposition yourself to potential clients and jurors.
