1. Choose your topics according to your interest. Writing can become monotonous unless you are writing about something that you feel passionate about.
2.  Choose and target a specific niche. You will achieve much better results by getting specific. There is far too much competition for generalized keywords like “sausages”. Instead, get specific. Try something like “Where to buy sausages in Poland”. The competition will be greatly lessened while the interest of the reader is heightened.
3.  Set up a free blogging account before investing in a paid blog space. You may find that blogging is not for you. Then there is nothing lost.
4. Make your blog more professional by including relevant pictures. This makes reading the blog’s content more enjoyable for your visitors.
5.  As a sidebar to your blog, include links to authoritative sources for your topic. Search bots will see and appreciate this. This “leverages” your blog with the established popularity of these sources.
 Be consistent and soon you will find your own blog becoming a source of authority for your given topic.
