Choosing your master list of keywords in crucial to your ability to succeed as an Internet marketer. Here are some facts to guide you:
·     You must pick master keywords or phrases that are directly relevant to the content of your site. For instance, you wouldn’t choose “telephone” for your website about cats - that would not be what a person shopping for cats or information about cats would type into a search box. Keep it relevant.
·     Put your most valuable keyword in the title of your website as well as in the website’s URL. Search bots will see this and like it.
·     Place your primary keyword and variations of it throughout the content on your page. Be sure to place it the first and last 25 words of the page.
·     Base your advertising campaigns on these same keywords and keyword phrases. Always maintain a consistent source of relevancy in your IM endeavors.
