Legal Blogs: The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly

There are many reasons to develop and maintain a blog on your firm’s website. A legal blog can be used to add content to your site, improve your organic search engine rankings, help place you as an expert in your field, and exist for customer reference.    also help develop regular traffic, driving up search engine rankings and resulting in a higher ROI.

It can be difficult to maintain a blog for a long period of time.  It’s essential to keep the content fresh; otherwise visitors will get bored and stop returning to read new articles.  If you can’t maintain a blog regularly with interesting and new content, it is better not to have one at all.

Include in your legal blog relevant content targeting recent news that could bring potential clients, information about the firm’s successes, as well as legal commentary and advice.  Include a plug for your firm, or a partner to contact where appropriate.
