Blogs, newsletters and websites are constantly searching the net for informative articles on health, diseases, colds and medicines — will they find your own expertise out there?
A big part of online marketing for your medical practice is becoming visible. The only way to do that is to have great content that other people and especially other websites will have an interest in.
If you’ve been a part of research or clinical studies, post the papers or summaries on your website. If you have expertise in treating certain diseases or sicknesses, post your experience and advice in short articles. If you believe a certain medicine or sickness is misunderstood, post an article with a better explanation of the details.
Two things will happen when you do this.
First, your average joe shmoe looking for information will find you by searching Google, boosting your traffic and leads.
Second, other websites will find your content, and if its good, they’ll post a link back to it, or discuss the article you wrote. This build links, reputation, and will spread your website and persona virally through the net. Once one larger site mentions you, several smaller sites that rely on that larger site for ideas and content will, too, effectively spreading your exposure at a rapid rate–for free.
Make sure you’re putting up content that other people will want to read, discuss, and link to, and you’ll see your web presence begin to grow overnight.
