Sprint Mobile is releasing a new web browser for their mobile phones that will make surfing the net easier for users, complete with a Google search box.
The web browser, named Sprint Web, will offer a customized homepage that displays content that users frequent. For example, if the user frequently visits financial sites, the home page will display links to financial related news stories and content.
Sprint Web also includes a Google search bar, part of the Clearwire deal Sprint Mobile signed to make Google its exclusive provider of web and local searches.
Currently available for over 40 handsets, including the Palm Centro, any compatible Sprint phone will gain the browser at no cost.
This is good news for Google Adwords and AdSense users, at it should help Google to continue to grow its influence over the highly anticipated emerging mobile advertising market.
