Many users will browse a website, find something they’re interested in, then end up going somewhere else because getting in contact was too much work. Make sure you aren’t losing possibly leads by committing this deadly error.
One way to give your visitors an easy, straight-forward way to contact you is by including your email or a form-email in a visible location on each house listing. We’ve already discussed different ways to do this.
Another way is by adding a commenting feature to your listings.
With the explosion of blogging on to the internet, most users are very comfortable using comments on a website. They are a fast, easy way to ask questions without having Outlook open up, or copy & pasting emails. It also helps keep spam out of your email inbox.
Put a comments script onto your listings, and every time someone has a question about a property you can respond to it directly on the website. This allows other visitors to get answers to questions not addressed in the listing faster. It also adds a level of interaction that can help turn an interested visitor into a potential sale, or set the stage to offer a showing of the property.
There are various free scripts on the market, or you can hire a web designer to implement this small feature on to your website.
Start communicating in an open forum, share more information, and help make your website a living, breathing extension of your business rather than a static library of information.
