Many professionals and real estate agents spend a lot of time on their computers during the work day. If you’re trying to increase the leads and conversions on your Agent website, consider using Instant Messaging to help draw interested buyers in and seal the deal.
Most everyone has an AIM, MSN, or Skype Instant Messaging client configured on their computer which they use for personal and even professional means. This is a powerful device that is often neglected by real estate agents when it comes to turning visitors into potential buyers.
On each of your listings, add contact information for your instant messaging client that will let interested browsers contact you in real time with questions. We recommend creating a unique username for your business alone, and choosing a set period of time that you will make yourself available to answer questions.
Try to set aside 2 to 4 hours a day or every other day to start and see how it works for you. If you notice you’re getting lots of potential clients to contact you, consider extending these hours. Essentially this is the same as replying to emails or answering your business phone, only it requires less attention and is a faster, easier, and cheaper way for your potential clients to contact you.
