Real Estate Agents are turning to the blog as a powerul source of lead generation every day, and with good reason.

- They’re free — or can be. Blogger, Wordpress, and more allow you to have a blog in minutes for the low price of $0 USD. More sophisticated designs will cost you but you can start out without investing a dime.
- They’re made well for SEO — The nature of blogs, their design, architecture, etc are all a great fit with SEO. You post fresh content regularly on a platform that is designed to be indexed and organized efficiently by search engines.
- They let you share — The format allows you to speak on various subjects around your area/region of expertise. These short articles draw in leads that are looking to buy in the area you’re talking about.
- They let you promote — Using the aforementioned articles to draw in traffic, you can easily promote your listings and other sites from the blog, capturing and funneling your leads towards become sales.
If you haven’t started, try now. It takes a little time a few days a week to type up a short piece on something you know more about than most. Go at it for a month and see how its working for you.
