Yahoo, Google deal in online advertising merger?

Yahoo seems to be considering handing over its search advertising operation to industry giant Google, reports say.

Yahoo announced a successful test run carried out last week, after using Google’s services to run ads along its search results.

Officials from both Yahoo and Google had declined to comment.

Yahoo has been looking for ways to get away from the “undervalued” unsolicited offer by Microsoft for $31 USD per Yahoo share.

If Yahoo and Google continue to dance to this tune, some serious anti-trust issues would need to be looked at and laid to rest. These are, afterall, two giants of the industry.
